We interviewed Pallavi on freelancing, bold leaps, and building a career across continents:

If you’re escaping for the weekend, what’s always in your bag?
If I'm escaping for the weekend, you'll find these goodies in my bag:

  • A good book (because disconnecting is key)

  • My favorite tinted sunscreen by Supergoop!

  • My phone (for capturing memories, and maybe a little bit of scrolling).

  • A killer playlist (road trip soundtrack is essential).

What advice would you give someone looking to start or pivot into a new career?

Just go for it! Seriously, what's the worst that could happen? There's no 'perfect' time, so jump in and figure it out as you go. You've got this!

What's been a big challenge, and how did you tackle it?

Freelancing is a hustle! Building a solid client base is always a work in progress. I relentlessly network and put myself out there. I'm always reaching out to new people and pitching ideas. Persistence is key!

What are your productivity power-ups?

I'm a big fan of the classic to-do list. Nothing beats the satisfaction of crossing things off! It keeps me organized and focused, even when things get crazy.

Who (or what) inspires you or your creative journey?

I'm constantly inspired by other freelance writers and digital creators. Seeing what they're doing and how they're pushing boundaries motivates me to keep learning and growing. It's an amazing community to be a part of!

Do you have a manifestation practice, mindset technique, or ritual that you swear by?

I chant 'Nam Myoho Renge Kyo,' every day. It's a Nichiren Buddhist chant that helps me stay grounded and focused on what I want to achieve. It's my little bit of zen in the midst of the chaos.
